The Balokken
The island of The Balokkencovers 36 hectares and is the ideal place to relax. It is a young park in full development and you can enjoy a particularly rich fauna and flora. Grasslands, deciduous trees and a reed bed, combined with walking paths and sitting areas, make De Balokken a charming place.

Ypres has been an important historical city since the Middle Ages. During the First World War, the city was completely destroyed and shortly after the war, the people of Ypres rebuilt their city!
A few days in Ypres and the Westhoek is always a good idea for any group: solo explorer, couple, family or group.
